Narrative

The crew from Quabbin Valley Paranormal returned again to the famed Houghton Mansion in the City of North Adams, Massachusetts.  Hoping to continue in their success of obtaining awesome evidence, the group brought a large contingent of investigators, some of which were performing their first official investigation.  The investigation went along smoothly with multiple teams investigating the building including areas like "John Widder's" room, "Mary Houghton's" room, and the basement.  Josh Mantello, the lead investigator from Berkshire Paranormal and Paul Oleskiewicz from Central Berkshire Paranormal joined us during the night (both are good friends to QVP).  The team utilized standard equipment such as recorders, environmental monitoring equipment, photography and video equipment.  The team also experimented with the Ovilus which Paul let the team use. 

During the night, many investigators had personal experiences.  Phil was in the basement investigating with Scott when he was possibly shoved (see video below).  Just before that incident, Phil snapped a picture and caught a possible shadowy figure (See picture below).  This occurred in the "old" boiler room section of the basement where multiple incidents have occurred to QVP investigators in the past. As the night progressed, Phil and Jason, who were investigating the Masonic Temple decided it was time to test how new investigators Will and Natasha were doing.  While investigating on the other side of a door, Will and Natasha were surprised when Phil and Jason knocked very loudly on the other side sending Will scurrying in retreat!  Yes we all have fun too!  For the most part it was an uncharacteristically quiet evening as far as "Houghton Standards" go, but it was still fun, it was good training, and we got to see our friends from Berkshire Paranormal
