Ø The Call o We were called in to investigate a private residence after the property owner experienced possible paranormal activity that occurred following recent renovations to structure. Ø The Site o A single story wood frame residence, approximately 1400 square feet. The building was unoccupied at time of investigation and was under major renovation. The water and heat were not functioning at time of investigation. Ø Summary of Claims o The property owner claimed that while in building at night performing renovations, he heard unexplained noises and voices. He further claimed that on multiple occasions, his wrist watch would cease to function while inside the building, but would continue to operate when he left. Ø Summary of Investigation
o Being a smaller home, we were able to provide a very thorough investigation of the entire structure. o We performed EMF sweeps of the building. We thought that there may have been high EMF in the home which could have attributed to the watch stopping. With all powered items on, the EMF levels were within normal ranges. o Many still photos were taken with nothing found, no visual evidence was caught on the video cameras either (there were no reports of visual anomalies). o During an EVP session in the basement of the building, investigators Dennis Peck and Gerry Powling experienced some unexplained bangs, apparently in response to questions. It happened three times. These bangs were caught on their audio recorder as well as two stationary IR cameras set up on opposite ends of the basement. There was no movement by investigators on the first floor during the episodes. After, we tried to recreate the bangs but were unsuccessful. o Nothing else was found during analysis of all information and data collected. Ø Conclusion o After reviewing everything we had collected over the course of the investigation, all we came up with were the three unexplained bangs in response to investigators questions. We could not use this evidence alone to call the structure “haunted”. It just wasn’t enough concrete evidence to make that claim. o The evidence was presented to the owner. We also advised him that the activity could very well cease once the renovations are completed. There were no signs of dangerous or malicious intent. o To date, no further activity has been reported. |
