Narrative

Received a case request from TAPS Case Manager Kristyn Gartland for a couple who reside  in Auburn, Maine.   Case forwarded to Case Manager Kelley Dubrule and contact with client was made.  Due to winter weather and distance to be traveled to location, client agreed to wait until Spring for initial investigation.

The building to be investigated was built in 1864 and used to be a Jam Factory.  The building is now a side by side duplex with the client residing in left side and the land lord living on right side.  The land lord is aware that we are coming and she has also had experiences in the home.  The Client's residence has 7 total areas (rooms) to be investigated including a full cellar.

There are three people who reside all the time in the home.  There are also four more children who live there at various times

The date for initial site investigation was set for April 4, 2009.  The crew initially was Phil Sheridan (Team Leader), Gerry Powling (Assistant), Tim Devault, Jenn LeBlanc, and trainee Priscilla Avery.

Crew met at Phil’s house at 15:30 hours and headed out to Maine which was a 3 ½ hour ride through multiple tolls.  The crew arrived on site at 19:15 hours and met up with the client's who were only two who would be at residence for evening.  The two signed necessary paperwork and gave us a tour of the residence.

Many reports of possible activity including footsteps and faint voices, banging, (2) closet doors opening on their own, objects being moved, electrical disturbances, lights on and off, apparitions of a “man in black” and a little white figure, and physical contact.  Despite all reports, clients state no threatening feel, they just would like to know what is going on.

A baseline sweep of building was completed and equipment set up.  The upstairs closet door was quickly debunked as it opens freely on its home with the slightest of floor vibration, and it opens completely.

There was an incident in the basement where investigators Gerry Powling and Phil Sheridan were doing an EVP session, and a plastic container was possibly thrown in their direction.  No explanation could be found.

There was a K-II meter session being performed on the 1st floor in the living room where there was a possible interaction for well over 30 minutes.  No source of EMF was found in the area, and the phenomena did stop with no trace of EMF.

Investigators report a toddler bed on the second floor which may have moved over 6 inches from the wall.

Many investigators had personal experiences, such as feeling of being touched, voices and unexplained noises heard.

Over 20 hours of audio and video data was collected.  Upon review of all the data, no real evidence was found.  One possible Class B EVP was captured.

Object Thrown (Audio)
WARNING:  IMPROPER LANGUAGE USED!

The clip is from the basement, and you hear the object (plastic container) thrown in the direction of investigator Phil Sheridan while Gerry Powling is performing an EVP session with him.  Phil apologizes for the language he uses!
"Go Away" EVP

Possible EVP.  You will hear investigator Gerry Powling talking with Jenn LeBlanc as they are reacting to possible activity on the second floor.  At about 13 seconds into clip, you can hear a whispery voice possibly saying "go away".  Use of head phones recommended.
