Case Number: 09-019-53 Location: Millbury, Massachusetts Type: Residential Investigator's: Rob Wronski (Team Leader), Jenn LeBlanc, Paula Sheridan, Scott Kier, Joanne Rancort, Jen Krzanik Equipment: Audio Recorders, DVC IR Video Cameras, IR Surveillance Cameras, EMF Meters, KII EMF, IR Thermometers, Motion Detectors Solar Activity: N/A Moon Phase: N/A Temperature: N/A Weather Conditions: N/A
Narrative Arrival:
Our crew arrived on site at 1900 hrs.
The crew consisted of me (Rob Wronski, Lead Investigator/Tech
Manager), Jen Leblanc (Case Manager/Historian), Paula Sheridan
(Investigator), Joanne Rancourt (Medium/Investigator), Scott Kier
(Investigator-in-Training), and Jen “Scooby” Krzanik
(Investigator-in-Training).
(For the remainder of this report, all investigators will be referred to
by first name, except for Jen Krzanik, who will be referred to as
“Scooby” to differentiate her from Jen Leblanc.
The client took me and Jen through the house to show us where there has
been paranormal activity.
Scott and Scooby unloaded the equipment and did a baseline of the house.
Paula also helped with equipment and supplies, as well as
paperwork. Joanne did her
own walk through once ours was complete.
We then went on to conduct four EVP sessions in the home.
Audio
After reviewing all of the audio from three voice recorders, I found no
EVPs.
Video
I reviewed 5 and a half hour of video and witnessed no paranormal
activity. Paula also
reviewed 5 and a half hour of video and also witnessed no paranormal
activity. Five and a half
hours of video remain to be viewed by Jen at this time.
Photos
Two photos were taken by Paula of what may be orbs.
Jen also took a picture of a possible orb.
All three photos will be forwarded to Director Phil Sheridan for
review.
EMF
The stairwell had an unusually high reading of .17.
Upon investigation, it was discovered that on the outside of the
house next to wear the reading is highest; there are lots of wires that
connect to the telephone pole.
Cold spots
There were several incidents of cold spots. However, the house, by the
client’s own words, is very drafty and that we would not be able to tell
if they were paranormal or natural.
K2
There was one incident where the K2 went off repeatedly for several
minutes. Upon reviewing the
audio, I found that one of our voice recorders (in the kitchen) picked
up a radio station playing rap music.
The K2 was in the master bedroom, one room over from the kitchen.
Considering how close we were to the highway, it would seem that
a radio was causing the K2 activity.
The music started when the K2 activity started, and stopped when
the K2 activity stopped.
Personal Experiences
While sitting in the living room with Jen, I had my face touched, and my
eyebrows rubbed. I also saw
a flash of light move across the kitchen twice.
All other investigators have filed personal reports.
Medium
Joanne has filed her own report.
Debunking
Breathing
We were told that the oldest daughter and the father both hear breathing
in the daughter’s room.
Upon sitting in the room and reviewing the audio and video, it seems
there are three possible natural explanations.
The highway traffic, cat purring, and the heat sound like heavy
breathing and sighing.
Apparitions
In the master bedroom, the client often sees an apparition at her
bedside at night. Upon
spending time in the room, we have determined that due to the busy,
well-lit neighborhood and her thin curtains, most likely the apparitions
could be a trick of the eye in viewing what are actually shadows.
Jen and I experienced this first hand in the living room when it
appeared that a man was walking behind Jen, but it was actually the
shadow of someone walking across the street.
In the basement, and apparition has been seen also.
Due to lots of wired in the basement, the basement is a “fear
cage.”
ECT.
We learned during the investigation that the client had forgotten to
mention that she holds psychic parties (parties in which several
psychics are invited over to do readings), and she also practices
psychic defense methods like those used by John Edwards.
Conclusion
Based upon the scientific evidence (or lack of) gathered, I cannot say
that this house is haunted.
However, because of personal experiences and the findings of our medium,
I cannot say that it is not haunted.
There may be paranormal activity, but our findings are
unfortunately inconclusive.
There is no scientific proof to
back up claims that this residence is haunted.
In fact, we have found natural explanations for some of the
claims. This does not mean
that the claims are false.
It just means we couldn’t find evidence to corroborate the claims. (Final Report Completed by Rob Wronski)
